Hello, I'm Brenda

I am so excited that you have found your way here!  Counseling isn’t easy for those truly seeking change.  It is hard work!  I enjoy being a part of the work that can help you become healthier, and able to live a life you find satisfying.

Throughout our work together I will encourage you to apply the tools and strategies learned in counseling, to your everyday life.  Because that is where you will see the fruit of counseling; in your everyday life.

Professional

Throughout my career I have worked with individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness, victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse, persons who have experienced loss, provided relationship counseling for struggling couples, as well as counseling for single moms trying to hold it all together. My education, experience and passions also includes:

  • Twenty years experience in mental health and business.

  • Missouri Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in private practice.  

  • I specialize in helping individuals, couples and families establish and assert boundaries, improve communication, and address underlying issues that contribute to personal struggles.

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Counseling 

I am proud of the work that I do to help my clients increase feelings of self-worth, feel safer in relationships, and increase understanding of themselves, in order to gain more control of their lives.

From helping clients manage anxiety and depression, to building better marriages, I am excited about helping people develop the tools necessary to improve their overall enjoyment of life.
